March is upon us and brings us the Spring season. We have a flurry of activities taking place this month. We start out with our rescheduled Workers' Compensation Seminar on March 5. You can earn CEUs by attending this seminar and we continued the 2 for 1 offer. See the brochure in this newsletter or our website to register for the event.
The Peninsula Section meeting will be held March 10 at Jefferson Labs and the Chapter meeting on March 17 at Harbor Park-Hits at the Park restaurant. Support your chapter and attend one of these meetings. At the chapter meetings we are focusing our 50-50 raffle proceeds towards the purchase of a projector.
Lastly, the Navy and Marine Corps Public Health Center has extended an invitation to ASSE members to their Public Health Conference held March 19-25 in Hampton. A flyer announcing the conference is in this newsletter. Additional information can be found on our website.
The Society has recognized the Greater Tidewater Chapter as a Chapter Star, the highest level of recognition. Our Chapter will receive an engraved award to be presented at the National PDC, a letter of recognition from the Society President, mention in ASSE publication Society Update and are subsequently eligible for consideration for the ASSE Chapter of the Year Award.
